This course is an Instructors Certification program for Emergency Vehicle Operations. The student who successfully completes the program will possess the prerequisites for certification under C.O.M.A.R. as either a Course Safety Officer or a Provisional Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor.

Client Agencies are Maryland certified agencies under the regulated authority of the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commissions (MPCTC).

Course Fee: $500 for client agencies; $750 for non-client agencies. (Cost may be waived if an agency supplies a MPCTC EVO Certified Instructor (per 2 enrolled students) and an agency training vehicle with the ability to re-fuel as necessary, for the entire program duration.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:

All registrations have a closing date of 1 month (30 days) prior to the course starting date. Any cancellations after the closing date may result in the forfeiture of the registration fee.

For client agencies that are Local Government Insurance Trust members, (LGIT) the agency training coordinator is required to register through MDLE. Please note LGIT in parentheses after the last name of the student. The request will only be confirmed when the LGIT Coordinator verifies the participants authorization under LGIT.
