This is a Commissions approved mandated training program for newly or soon to be promoted public safety supervisors and must be taken within 12 months of their promotion. This program is offered as a 5 day program suitable for public safety personnel. The program content will include the use of interactive problem solving exercises and scenarios focusing on the fundamental skills required of all first line supervisors. The testing method for this program will be a daily quiz on the topics taught each day. Students must obtain a 75% or higher average among all quizzes and maintain at least a 90% attendance in order to receive credit for the class.There is a strict deadline for registration of 1-week prior to the first day of class.
PLEASE NOTE: Agencies holding a seat with a yet to-be-determined student will need to enter the information TWO MONTHS prior to the course start date. If student information is not entered by this time, the hold will be automatically removed from the roster.
The Date of Promotion to Current Rank is required to enroll in this course!

This program is offered as a 10 day program suitable for both law enforcement and correctional officers and includes interactive, problem solving exercises focusing on the fundamental skills required of all first line supervisors.
Exercises are tailored to meet the needs and expectations of each class with examples drawn from both disciplines. Since this is a combined law enforcement/corrections program, there will not be separate sessions for police and correction personnel.
