This course is designed to enable the student to build on the principles described in discipline investigations and provide instruction on how to implement the results found at the completion of an internal discipline investigation. Topics include: introduction to the Correctional Officer Bill of Rights (COBR), investigations and production of administrative charging documents, preparing for COBR hearings and Hearing Boards, rights and appeals and imposing punitive discipline.
