Defensive Tactics Instructor Review & Refresher (Day 1)

MPCTC is offering a Defensive Tactics Instructor Review and Refresher Course. This course is being split into two separate blocks of instruction. Day 1 is a non-weapon involved training block. Day 2 will involve training associated with the use, and defense of various weapons.

Day 1 is a mandatory prerequisite for Day 2. Multiple dates are being offered to accommodate this request from MPCTC and course instructors. This training is open to all MPCTC certified Defensive Tactics Instructors, regardless of current agency employment.

MPCTC will provide all training equipment, unless specifically directed by the below required training equipment list.

Required Equipment list for both courses:
BDU style pants w/belt
Comfortable shoes (no boots)
Mouth piece
Groin protection (men)
MMA style fingerless gloves
Hydration
Note taking material

Agency DT Course Officer Injury Review and Discussion (Risk Management)
Teaching Methodology for DT Course Application
Personal Combatives
360` Outside Defense Application and Drills
S.P.E.A.R. System Application and Drills
Takedown Defense Application and Drills
Defensive Ground Positions
Tactical Movement from a grounded position
Tactical Standing from a grounded position
Full mount escapes
Guard Passes
Offensive Guard Escapes
Punch Block Defense Stages 1-2-3
