This training will familiarize students with the online processes for completing and submitting their timesheets in the Workday system. If you register for any of these trainings, you must be able to access the sandbox. Please make sure you have access by signing in and having your password reset (if needed) prior to attending the session for which you sign up. Emails have been sent encouraging everyone to access the sandbox, a temporary site where employees can “play” in a virtual environment that mimics the actual Workday environment. This Workday Basics training is intended for supervisors and employees; not timekeepers. (Timekeepers will be offered separate training.) There will be a session each day from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and a second session each day from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The morning sessions are open to staff AND supervisors (anyone who will be approving timesheets in Workday). The morning training is expected to end at 11:00 and supervisors will be required to remain until 12 for additional training about the approval process. The afternoon sessions are for any employees who will not be approving timesheets.
