Columbine Massacre, Palczynski Standoff, Beslan School Take-over, Hurricane Isabelle, Stealth Fighter Crash, Amtrak Collision, Highway Tanker Explosion, Bird Flu, MRSA Infection…are you ready? What do you need to know to be effective in managing critical incidents, mitigating the damage caused and returning your communities/personnel to normalcy? What policies and procedures are there in your agency to guide and direct you? Bring your manuals and your experience to class. We will discuss the specific policies your managers have designed to help you be successful when you need it most. Also, we will compare policies and experiences to help you understand best practices in use throughout the region.
