Class Description
This course is designed to provide managers and supervisors with the tools to manage planned change in their teams and organizations. Participants will examine techniques to produce behavior that enables change as well as strategies and models for dealing with resistance to change. Topics to be covered include Three-Phase Transition Model of Change, leadership tasks and responsibilities, communication strategies, and four change implementation tools. Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the three stages of transition, identify three supervisory tasks at each interval of transition, create an effective communication strategy, and apply the four change implement tools.
