DPP- Supervision of Internet Sex Offenders

 

General Description
This course is designed to introduce community supervision staff to the assessment and treatment of individuals found guilty of possession, receipt, or distribution of child pornography through the lens of community supervision. Topics to be covered include the impact of viewing pornography, the correlation between viewing child pornography and hands-on sex offending, etiological factors related to viewing child pornography, assessment of ISO, recidivism risk factors and rates, and treatment and supervision of this population.
