Class Description
This course assists supervisors in maximizing their unit’s effectiveness and preparing their unit for the future. Participants examine their unit’s mission, work to develop a vision of the unit’s desired future state, and explore the guiding principles and core values that underlie the unit’s work. Based on these strategic foundations, participants will then explore the process for the development of long-range unit goals, shorter-term objectives, and specific action-steps through which the strategic plan can be accomplished.
