Developing and Using Effective Interview and Interrogation Skills/Techniques is intended to enable participants to develop the skills and techniques necessary to structure and conduct effective interviews using “cognitive interview skills.” The class will also focus on developing active listening skills and detecting deception during interrogations. Videos and a series of practical exercises, monitored by the instructors as well as self-critiques by the students, will provide feedback as the attendees progress through the 2 day program. Class size is limited to 24 participants because of the practical exercises and this 2 day training program usually fills quickly so early registration is encouraged. The class has been developed and will be taught by experiences investigator-instructors from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Certificates of completion will be issued to all attendees who successfully complete the two day course of instruction and pass a written test.

Attire is suitable causal business attire.
