General Description
This course provides law enforcement personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to prevent, deter and respond to WMD terrorist incidents using Awareness level information. It includes Intelligence gathering, Practical counter-terrorism techniques. Identification of materials to produce CBRNE agents ad differentiate between clandestine drugs labs and CBRNE labs, characteristics associated with counterfeit and altered domestic and international identity documents.

Class Description
This course prepares federal, state and local first responders, including law enforcement personnel, to prevent and deter terrorist incidents involving weapons of mass destruction, which may include chemical agents, biological agents, radiological or nuclear materials or explosives.
