| General Description |
The "sovereign citizen" movement is a right-wing anarchist ideology originating in the theories of a group called the Posse Comitatus. This class will introduce the attendee to the Sovereign Citizen extremists, which has exploded in recent years. The class will cover the history of the movement, signs and symbols of the sovereigns, officer safety and will introduce sovereign groups either in Maryland or groups Maryland law enforcement may encounter. Sovereign Citizens will retaliate against law enforcement , prosecuting attorneys that sovereigns feel have "targeted" them. |
