**New Requirements for Applicants for T4T – Updated 3/12/2014**
All applicants for the MPCTC New Instructor and Lesson Plan Development Training Program must receive approval from their home agency in order to register for this training. If a training coordinator or director registers a student for this program the required approval will be assumed. If a student registers themselves for the program proof of approval by their home agency must be provided before the registration is confirmed. Applicants from non-client criminal justice agencies will be admitted to the class only if there are vacant seats remaining within 1 week of the first day of training.
The 56 hour training for trainers program is for the individual who is interested in learning the basics of instruction. This course will give the students the basic skills to teach general topics, including basic PowerPoint, as well as communication and presentation skills.
Completion of this course satisfies either the Police Training Commission or the Correctional Training Commission instructor certification training program.
