Training Coordinators' Update

| General Description |
This program is designed to update police and correctional training coordinators with the current training and certification requirements of the Police & Correctional Training Commissions. Presentations will be given by members of the Certifications Unit, the Police Training Unit, the Firearms Training Unit, the Registrar's Office, and the Leadership Development Institute. Attendees will also learn about mandated and elective training programs that are available through the MD Police & Correctional Training Commissions. |

8:30am - 12:00pm Presented by the Maryland Police & Correctional Training Commissions, this three hour class will provide police training coordinators with the most up to date information on important topics such as: the officer certification process, completing Notice of Personnel Action Forms, the instructor certification process, firearms training regulations, entry level and in-service program approval applications, comparative compliance eligibility, entry level hiring requirements (selection standards) and the new online training registration process. All new police training coordinators are encourages to attend. |
