Introduction to Explosives

Introduction to Explosives is for any officer who will be a first responder to a bomb threat, explosion or suspicious package. This course will cover and participants will be able to discuss at the conclusion: What materials/items are used to making explosives; How these materials/items are used in I.E.D.’s; What I.E.D.’s might look like; How to identify the components before/after detonation; How to handle bomb threats; How to identify threats.
