This is a two-day course in investigative statement analysis. It provides students with an investigative tool that helps them gain insight into a subject's thoughts and ideas. Statement analysis helps investigators recognize veracity and to detect areas of possible deception. The instructor, Stan Burke, was with the FBI for 23 years and was declared a subject matter expert on statement analysis in 2006. He has taught at the FBI Academy, was a faculty member at the University of Virginia and has taught this subject to law enforcement managers throughout the world.
