DTF- Pursuit Policy Workshop

| General Description |
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is partnering with IADLEST, the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards, and ALERT International, the Association of Law Enforcement Emergency Response Trainers, to present information consistent with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) guidelines. The course is designed to provide guidance for the officer, supevisors and administrators from the initiation of the vehicle pursuit through its conclusion. Individual agency policies will be discussed along with the IACP pursuit policy guidelines. Students are required to bring a copy of their Agency's Pursuit Policy to the workshop. REGISTRATION is online at http://training.pursuitpolicy.org/workshopsignup.aspx just below the map type in “Sykesville” and follow the instructions. |
