Violent Radical Extremism in the Correctional Environ.

This DHS course is designed to provide correctional services personnel, probation and parole officers, and intelligence personnel working in a correctional environment with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully recognize, report, and understand the dangers associated with, violent radical extremism in the correctional environment. This is a broad-based curriculum that will provide awareness level training in the following areas:

-Violent Extremist Radicalization Definition and Process
-The Dangers of Ideological Extremism in the Correctional Environment
-Violent Radical Extremist Recruitment in the Correctional Environment
-Violent Radical Extremist Activity Indicators
-Collaboration and Information-Sharing with State, Local and Federal Partners
