Electronic Media Basic Investigation Course

7:30am - 4:00pm

The course is designed to teach basic technology-related investigations. Participants in this course will become familiar with social media outlets as well as basic resources that could assist with investigations, such as search engines. The student will learn how to track and trace people online to include: missing children, persons of interest and wanted individuals. Students will be able to determine company information regarding the direction of court related documentation. Students will learn basic computer and cell phone terms and basic investigative technology.
