This specialized training program is aimed to deconstruct gender stereotypes and increase participants’ acceptance of and comfort with transgender clients. The program emphasizes building self-awareness, respectful and effective communications skills, and basic problem solving skills. Any individual working within a service setting can utilize these skills on a day-to-day basis to more effectively serve transgender offenders.
