| General Description |
This 8 hour course of instruction is designed for instructors with the standard curriculum of the expandable baton. The student must complete, to minimum competency standards, three separate tests (proficiency test, written test and teaching assignment) to graduate from this basic instructor course. |

Students should bring with them the following protective gear: o Gym type or BDU’s clothing o Soft sole shoes or boots. o Duty belts with Expandable Baton and Holster. (NO live weapons are permitted within the Physical Training Center) o Writing instrument. |
