Police & Correctional OC Spray Instructor Course

| General Description |
This 8 hour class will provide to the students the understanding and proper use of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC Spray). The students will be taught by a combination of lecture and demonstration. Following the lecture, the student will be shown step by step method of the techniques, then each student will perform the techniques as shown and with numerous practice attempts will demonstrate each techniques to a degree of comprehension and skill level required to successfully pass the performance check off list. |

Students should bring with them the following protective gear: o Change of Clothing o Large Towel. o Department agency O.C. Spray (one can inert O.C. and one live O.C.). o Duty belts with O.C. Spray Holster. (NO live weapons are permitted within the Physical Training Center) o Writing instrument. o Baby Shampoo (Optional) |
