The course provides public safety personnel with awareness-level instruction on recognition, avoidance, isolation and notification techniques in a weapons of mass destruction (WMD) environment. The course covers prevention and deterrence as well as chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) hazards.
