Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command 2026
General Description
The Maryland Police & Correctional Training Commissions is proud to host the Northwestern School of Police Staff & Command!
The School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC) prepares public safety managers for senior positions by combining academic principles with practical applications. Since its launch in 1983, SPSC has become one of the most highly respected law enforcement management programs in the country. Designed for mid- and upper-level personnel, this intensive program incorporates adult- and problem based learning models into its thorough curriculum. Because participants are experienced professionals, course activities encourage class members to learn from each other’s experiences, build relationships, and develop networks that will last long after the course has ended. For more information on the program, visit https://sps.northwestern.edu/center-for-public-safety/landing/spscflyer/.
