This 32-hour course is designed for individuals who are already RADAR/LIDAR Operators who want to instruct new operators in the theory, use and case law for speed measuring devices. This course will give the students the basic skills to teach the RADAR/LIDAR curriculum; it will not certify students as Basic Instructors. If a student is not already a certified instructor, this course will allow them to teach up to 3 hours under the supervision of a certified MPCTC Instructor in the field of RADAR/LIDAR. The course is based on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Basic Instructor Course and RADAR/LIDAR curriculum.
