Speaker Series - Good Comes First

The Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission (PTSC) in partnership with Public Safety Education & Training Center’s (PSETC) Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is excited to present the next event of our Speaker Series!

This high-energy talk focuses on the tactical and practical, delivering an engaging presentation on improving workplace culture.

Good Comes First: Chris Edmonds and Mark S. Babbitt are well known for their engaging, experienced work on the stage, at conferences, and in meeting and boardrooms. Mark and Chris’ keynotes present their proven culture process, robust research, and client successes (and failures) with culture change—all delivered with humor and actionable inspiration. Registration and light refreshments will begin at 7:30am, and our speakers from 8:30am-3:00pm. Each attendee will also receive a copy of the Good Comes First book. After their presentation, Chris and Mark are delighted to sign copies of the book for those interested.

Please Note:The March 18th presentation is geared towards Command Staff and the ability to effectuate lasting and impactful change to workplace culture. Command Staff is defined for these purposes as Lieutenant and above for Law Enforcement and Chief of Security and above for Corrections. However, all are welcome on either day given that we wish to accommodate as many public safety professionals on the date that is best suited for their schedule.
