The First-Line Supervisor program is a training program mandated by the Commissions for newly promoted or soon-to-be-promoted public safety supervisors. The participants must complete this program within 12 months of their promotion. The program spans over 5 days and is tailored to provide comprehensive training that focuses on critical skills such as problem-solving exercises, and realistic scenarios that simulate on-the-job challenges. These exercises are designed to equip participants with the skills to excel in their roles as first-line supervisors. To complete the program, students will be required to take daily quizzes on the topics covered. A minimum average score of 75% across all quizzes is necessary for passing. Additionally, maintaining at least a 90% attendance throughout the duration of the course is crucial to receive credit for the program. There is a strict deadline for registration of 1-week prior to the first day of class.
