DPP- CPR/First Aid

 

General Description
Participants will receive an overview and practical of CPR/First Aid. Participants will also receive an overview of Narcan and Drug Identification. In order to successfully complete the course, participants will be required to pass a written exam and practice and demonstrate skills. THIS WILL REQUIRE PHYSICAL EFFORT, including kneeling on the floor and pushing forcefully on the manikin's chest with both hands/arms.

Students are permitted to wear athletic attire for this program, abiding by the Department's dress code. Athletic pants and t-shirts are permitted but must comply with ADM.050.0029 Section 5, Item C. Shorts, tank tops and any clothing with holes or profanity is still prohibited.

This course is designed for Division of Parole & Probation in-service training.
