The course, which is an ICS 300 equivalent, trains emergency response supervisors and managers in the skills necessary to effectively plan for and manage a weapons of mass destruction (WMD) (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive [CBRNE])/terrorism incident by applying the “all-hazards” command and management structures found in the National Incident Management System (NIMS); with emphasis on the Incident Command System (ICS), multi-agency coordination systems and public information systems.
