Webinar - DPSCS Discipline and Grievances

 

General Description
This course will teach DPSCS Supervisors the difference between Supervisor counseling vs. Supervisor recommending formal disciplinary action based on agency policy, philosophy and practice. Also DPSCS Supervisors will be able to recommend or impose a disciplinary action in compliance with Departmental policies. The basic steps that are required to investigate a compliant of employee behavior will be reviewed. Lastly, the course will review the role of the supervisor in addressing stress and the impact that the supervisor’s response has on the employee and agency.

Please note this course is NOT approved for in-service credit!!

This program will be held via the GoToWebinar platform. Access to the internet for the full duration of the webinar is required; however, a microphone & camera are not necessary. Access information and instructions will be sent within 3-business days of the course start date. This information will only be sent to enrolled students, and should never be shared. Students not on the roster will NOT be admitted into the webinar.
