This course will identify for students what professional writing is, and discusses various types of professional writing, as well as teaches general tips for professional writing. The course also, more specifically, discusses the top 10 skills of professional writing in detail, to include defining purpose, use of clear and concise language, knowing your audience, tone of writing, organization, word choice, active and passive voice, facts versus opinion, adapting to various platforms, and grammar and punctuation.
This program will be held via the GoToWebinar platform. Access to the internet for the full duration of the webinar is required; however, a microphone & camera are not necessary. Access information and instructions will be sent within 3-business days of the course start date. This information will only be sent to enrolled students, and should never be shared. Students not on the roster will NOT be admitted into the webinar.
