Edge Weapon Defense Course

The four hour class will teach officers how to defend against the most common of weapons: knives. The class will include skills to defend against stab attacks, slashes and threat to the throat with a knife. All skills will be re-enforces with drills

*Students should not have any physical or other limitations that will affect thier abilities to particpate and complete any of the skills taught.
*Students should bring with them the following protective gear:
-Mouth guard
-Wrist wraps
-Half-finger (MMA type) gloves
-Groin protection
-Shin protection pads (recommended)
-Duty belts
-Sweats and/or gym gear
-Cross trainer type shoes
