LDI- Candid Conversations about Race

 

General Description
This course is designed to allow the participants, who are law enforcement and public safety professionals, to learn about and become more aware of the complexities involved in conversations surrounding race and culture. Topics to be covered include culture and cultural script, data and trends in America, race in America, terminology, privilege, anti-racism, and courageous conversations.

This program will be held at the CCBC Catonsville Campus, 800 S. Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228, Room: Health Careers and Technology (HTEC) 205. Participants will be screened upon entering campus, to include a temperature check and CDC questionnaire. Masks are required while on campus. Due to COVID, the cafeteria on campus will be closed.
