General Description

This workshop is designed to assist students in creating lesson plans for their agency. This will be accomplished by panel discussions on several instructional topics. Each student will be assigned a topic which will require research. The student will be creating a 20 minute lesson plan in the ITIP Lesson Plan format. Lessons will not be presented but will be scored via a checklist. 75% will be required on the checklist for successful completion. Students must have successfully completed either the 5 day Basic Instructor class or the 8 day New Instructor & Lesson Plan Development class (or other comparable instructor course). This course will be intensive and require students to work on their own.
