General Description
This course is designed to enable public safety practitioners to learn to write reports, memos, and letters. Topics to be covered include organizing thoughts, condensing a draft into a report, writing clearly and concisely, effective writing, practicing writing for effective memos, and learning to proofread and edit.

Attention Parole & Probation Employees:
DPP personnel who are required to receive 18 hours of in-service and have not yet done so for the calendar year are able to attend this seminar at no-cost. This applies to FSIs, Senior Agents and Agents. Training records will be checked prior to confirmation. Please be sure to indicate your rank upon enrollment. All other DPP personnel will owe the $25 fee.
