General Description
This course focuses on understanding and improving the communication and interpersonal skills central to a supervisor’s effective interactions with their subordinates, peers and management. A model of the communication process is presented and selected communication skills are explored. A personality profile instrument is introduced, and the concept of personality type and its applications in improving interpersonal effectiveness are examined.

DPP personnel who are required to receive 18 hours of in-service and have not yet done so for the calendar year are able to attend this seminar at no-cost. This applies to FSIs, Senior Agents and Agents. Training records will be checked prior to confirmation. Please be sure to indicate your rank upon enrollment. All other DPP personnel will owe the $25 fee.
