Human Trafficking: Awareness, Investigation & Victimization

In partnership with Ms. Jen Spry; the United States Attorney’s Office; the Maryland Police & Correctional Training Commissions and the Maryland Crime Prevention Association, a day long training will be provided on Human Trafficking. Topics covered will be: “A Victim’s Story and Perspective”; Human Trafficking 101; and Human Trafficking Investigations. This training is suitable for law enforcement; crime prevention practitioners; business; and concerned community members.

Class Description
Human Trafficking: Awareness, Investigation & Victimization In partnership with the USAO; force;and Allegany College. Topics include overview of HT in Maryland; HT Recognition; Needs of HT Victims; Resources for Investigators and Victim Advocates; Interview Techniques; and HT and the internet. This training is approved for 7 hours of Police in Service credit.
