In order to ensure a fair and balanced process, MPCTC is now requiring that any reserved slot for a recruit for Class 32 be paid in full no later than November 3, 2017. We are requesting that the names of the attending recruits be updated in the online registration system by November 22, 2017. If the tuition is not paid by November 3rd, the agency will lose that reservation and MPCTC will move to the “waiting list”. Payment can be made by credit card or check through the MPCTC Finance Department. However, all State Agencies must use RSTARS to make payment; credit card forms are not acceptable.
There will be a mandatory meeting on December 6, 2017 for the Agency Representatives with the PEL Staff in reference to our new entry-level program. On that date, we will furnish you with the new Academy Rules and Regulations, the fitness requirements, lodging accommodations and training schedule. We will also entertain any questions about the new PEL program.
Family Day will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Sykesville, MD. Details will be forwarded at a later date. All registered students are required to attend. Family members, friends and command staff are also welcome to attend but this day is primarily for the recruit and family.
Agencies interested in joining the wait list should contact Katie.Johnson@maryland.gov with the number of recruit spots. Thank you!
