General Description

This closed course for DJS Staff only will cover the duties and responsibilities of the institutional fire safety officer for Juvenile Correctional Institutions (JCI), Juvenile Detention Centers (JDC) and Juvenile Community Corrections Facilities (JCF). This program is designed for newly assigned DJS institutional fire safety officers using the American Correctional Association (ACA) standards for juvenile facilities.
